The stylish red Italian sports bike is here with the Ducati Panigale V4. Specifically designed to give the experience of a race bike the Ducati Panigale V4 comes with a new engine, new frame and new electronics as stated at the Ducati press conferences. With 214hp at 13,000 rpm, this is definitely a very powerful bike. Make no mistake this road bike means to give the rider a race bike experience and it delivers extremely well on this count.

Specifications

The engine displacement of the Ducati Panigale V4 is 1103cc and the bike comes with four cylinders. There is an anti-lock brake system or ABS, LED headlamp and digital tachometer. The Panigale V4 has a torque of 124 Nm @ 10000 rpm.

The brand new Desmosedici Stradale 90° V4 engine comes with a rearward rotating crankshaft, four Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder and is liquid cooled. The bike has four cylinders and six speed gears.

Other specifications include chain drive type, fuel injection system and disc brake in the front and back.

The Ducati Panigale V4 has aluminium alloy front frame chassis. The front suspension is made of fully adjustable Showa BPF fork with 43 mm chromed inner tubes. The rear suspension is a fully adjustable Sachs Unit with aluminium single-sided swingarm.

Diablo Supercorsa SP tubeless tyres fit around seventeen inch wheels in the front and at the back. The wheels are made of pressed steel alloy.
The fuel tank has a capacity of 16 litres. The dry weight of the bike is 175 Kg or 386lb.

The new Front-Frame design gives the Ducati Panigale V4 far superior agility making it less tiring for the rider to control even at high speeds. The Desmosedici Stradale engine gives the front frame its rigidity allowing for the frame to weigh only 4kg. The engine block is a key connection point for the single swingarm’s pivot point and the rear suspension.

The whole bike has been designed so that the weight is distributed with a focus on racing. The bike has been designed to be as compact and lightweight as possible. Fully adjustable forks, a TTX36 shock unit and Smart EC 2.0 add to the race bike features of this bike. The Smart EC 2.0 analyses the bikes behaviour to provide optimum performance.

Performance

The Ducati Panigale V4 is a race bike made for road use. The speed and power of the bike are exceptional and complimented well by the Brembo-assisted brakes. The body made up of aluminium, other alloys and plastic with the latest in electronic technology, give the bike a sleek design and automatic controls conducive to high speed riding. A torque of 124 Nm @ 10000 rpm adds to the bikes accuracy while going around bends at high speeds.

The Ducati Panigale V4 delivers on its promise of giving a race bike experience. The bike is currently priced at £ 19,259 in the UK but comes with payment plans. If you are looking for a bike purely to enjoy the pleasures of speed while being safe then the Ducati Panigale V4 is for you.
