With the introduction of the CRF450L, Honda aims to target such enthusiasts by giving them everything they need. Let’s jump in to understand the hype about the Honda CRF450 L.

Specifications

The Honda CRF 450L gets similar suspension to the other CRF models, but the ones on this machine are for proper off-roading. In the front, there is the Showa fork, with light springs, allowing to handle different types of terrain. You get adjustments for rebound and compression damping, necessary when you have to take the motorbike off-road. In the rear, it is the Showa shock, with soft springs, with adjustments for preload and rebound damping. The Japanese manufacturers have spent a lot of time calibrating the motorbike for off-roading. In the front brakes, you will find a single disc with two-piston callipers, while the rear has the smaller disc, with single-piston callipers. You will appreciate the brakes deeply, as it provides great control over your motorbike when you are taking it off-road. As you will be spending most of your time on dirt roads, the handling of this motorbike is incredible. Regardless of the difficulty of entering the corner, the motorbike gives you precision handling. At the same time, it doesn’t affect the stability of the motorbike at high speeds. You won’t face a lot of fatigue, even if you spend long hours riding this machine, as the saddle is comfortable. Whether you are going for an adventure which lasts several hours or days, the seat will always surpass your expectations.

Performance

Powering the Honda CRF450 L is a four-stroke, single cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve, Unicam OHC, 449.7 cc engine, producing 24.6 hp of power and 23.6 ft-lb of torque. Even when you are off-road, the motorbike can touch 65 – 70 mph without breaking a sweat. The engine produces linear and smooth power, a necessity for this type of motorbike.
